These are atheletes who have been inducted into the Beverly Hall of Fame as partcipants in Ice Hockey. Their atheletic and personal acheivements have been recognized by their peers as outstanding individuals deserving of this honor.

Herb Hammond , a 1958 graduate of Beverly High School and the brother of current Hall of Fame Athlete Fred Hammond, was an outstanding member of the Beverly Hockey team and later became a successful college coach
A gifted goalie, Hammond was a three-year starter, letter winner, and captain of the 1957-58 hockey team. That year he was named a North Shore League All-Star
In addition to his accomplishments on the ice, Hammond played on the varsity baseball team for three years as a first baseman and pitcher.
Hammond moved on to Springfield College after graduating from Beverly, but he couldn't play college hockey because Springfield didn't have a team. To stay in hockey shape, though, Hammond served as the practice goalie for the Springfield Barons of the American Hockey League
His coaching career started at North Yarmouth Academy in Maine, where he served as the athletic director, and hockey , soccer, and baseball coach. Hammond then moved on to Albany Academy in New York, where he coached the hockey, soccer, and track teams.
From 1960-1980, Hammond was the hockey, soccer and baseball coach at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego. In 1980, Hammond led the hockey team there to an Eastern College Athletic Conference West title.
His success there led to a job at SUNY at Plattsburg, where he coached the hockey team and was named the AHCA College Coach of the Year in 1981. SUNY-Oswego inducted Hammond into its Hall of Fame in 2006.
From 1989 to 2000, Hammond served as a scout fro the New York Rangers. When the Rangers won the NHL's Stanley Cup in 1994, Hammond had his name engraved on the cup with others in the organization.

Not many of Roger LeBlanc's opponents wanted to take a hit from the 1972 Beverly graduate on the ice.
His fearlessness and physical style of play helped LeBlanc develop into one of the most dominating Beverly hockey players ever. He was a true power forward with a strong shot and great touch and accuracy.
In 14-game seasons for three years, he compiled career totals of 54 goals and 55 assists for 109 points, which places him as Beverly's seventh all-time leading scorer.
LeBlanc played on the first two Beverly Hockey Championship teams, as well as helping the team advance to the state quarterfinals in the 1969-1970 season. In the 1971-1972 state tournament , he scored the game- winning goal against Needham goalie Cap Raeder (who went on to play for the Boston Bruins) in the seventh overtime period. Beverly then advanced to the state semi-finals.
At a young age, LeBlanc had the opportunity to play with the Montreal Junior A Canadian Hockey team, which is considered the best junior team in Canada, but declined and decided to stay and play for Beverly. Some astute hockey observers feel that he could have played hockey at the highest level.
As an adult, LeBlanc helped form the youth hockey league in Beverly, and was an assistant hockey coach at Beverly for five years.
