Tyler was born in Beverly Mass and has enjoyed playing hockey within the Beverly system since the 6th grade. Tyler's brother; Spencer runs Cross Country as a freshman at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina while some of Tyler's older cousins are avid rugby, soccer and hockey players at their respective colleges. Tyler is looking forward to his final year of high school hockey as well as attending college in 2010.
